Ascend Youth Ministry

Ascend Youth Ministry

ABOUT
We strive to equip students to move UP, IN, and OUT. In other words, we seek to balance our programming and events to allow students to grow in their relationship with God (UP), their relationships with one another (IN), and their relationship with the community (OUT).

Each foundational piece of the ministry is reflective of how Jesus lived and did ministry, with the Mountain he Ascended as a literal and symbolic place of his time with the Father (UP), with the disciples (IN), and then with the public (OUT). To Ascend is to move in each of these three foundational parts of faith (UP, IN, OUT).

CONTACT / VOLUNTEER
We would love the opportunity to journey with your child as him/her Ascends in a healthy walk with the Lord. If you have any additional questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact our Youth Pastor at pastormorgan@westervillenaz.com, or call the church office at (614) 882-2148.
SAFETY POLICIES
The safety of your teenager is of the utmost importance. Every volunteer that works with the youth is required to complete a thorough background check and is trained in our security procedures.

About

We believe children are the future leaders of our society, therefore we strive to create an environment that will enhance their creativity and their love for worshiping Christ.  Our children's ministry (Treehouse Kids) offers Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programs from infant through 5th Grade.

Where & When

Infant through pre-K ages meet during the Sunday morning service in the Treehouse Kid's wing (you may drop-off your children 15 minutes before service begins). Elementary age kids (K-5th) worship as a family in the main auditorium and are released for the children's message after the offertory.

Contact / Volunteer

We would love the opportunity to teach your child about God’s love and His plan for their life. If you have any additional questions or are interested in volunteering, please contact us.

Safety Policies

The safety of your child is of the utmost importance. Every volunteer that works with children is required to complete a thorough background check and is trained in our security procedures. We also require that every child be checked in at the children's check-in desks (next to the welcome center) in order to be admitted into a classroom. If we need to contact you for any reason, you will receive a text to the number that you've provided.

During pickup, you will need to give the bracelet you received during check-in to the volunteer in the classroom.

Community Groups

Community Groups

We are all made in the image of God, and part of that image is community. Through the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, we learn that God is one God who exists eternally as three persons in eternal, perfect community, and we understand that humans not only long for but are also made for community to reflect the image of the Triune God.
Community Groups at Westerville Naz seek to redeem community by making ways to meaningfully connect with other Christians. To learn how to join a group, contact the church office at churchoffice@westervillenaz.com
