About

We strive to equip students to move UP, IN, and OUT. In other words, we seek to balance our programming and events to allow students to grow in their relationship with God (UP), their relationships with one another (IN), and their relationship with the community (OUT).

Each foundational piece of the ministry is reflective of how Jesus lived and did ministry, with the Mountain he Ascended as a literal and symbolic place of his time with the Father (UP), with the disciples (IN), and then with the public (OUT). To Ascend is to move in each of these three foundational parts of faith (UP, IN, OUT).

Who

Teens from 6th grade to 12th grade.

WHERE & WHEN

We currently meet at the Church every Wednesday evening from 6:30-8:30pm.

SAFETY POLICIES

The safety of your teenager is of the utmost importance. Every volunteer that works with the youth is required to complete a thorough background check and is trained in our security procedures.

At the Westerville Church of the Nazarene, we often have photos and videos being taken of events to celebrate the moments. Photography, videography, and live streaming may be occurring during services, ministry projects, fellowship time, formation groups, and events. These are often used, but not limited to, printed and electronic materials and digital/social media. While we reserve the right to record and photograph events, services, etc., we strive to use them in safe and positive outlets. If you would like to make sure that you are not in photographs, please let our office know or contact us should you see a picture of yourself or child online that you would like removed. Please understand that we cannot remove your image from live streaming events. Contact our office with any questions/concerns at the number above.
